Overview
This is a high-level overview of how-to-use Neffies Digital Assets for augmented reality in Adobe Dimension and Adobe Aero.
Export In Adobe Dimension
First we export our 3D objects, go to
File > Export > Selected For Aero.
(Tip: If you have more than one object you want to view in augmented reality, all 3D objects must be selected and exported in order to view in Adobe Aero).
An Export For Aero window will pop-up, select Export.
We proceed to save our document in the Adobe Creative Cloud. Then e created a folder - Neffie Digital Assets where we will locate our exported file. Click save and and save it to access within the Adobe Aero App.
Importing To Adobe Aero
For this demo, we have the Adobe Aero app open and installed an an iPhone 12 Pro Max. To begin, we will Tap on the Bottom Right (+) plus icon. We proceed to scan surface and place an anchor point. Next Tap on the Bottom Left (+) icon.
We proceed by Tapping on the Creative Cloud button, select the folder (Neffie Digital Assets) we created and placed our exported digital asset (Neffie Business Card Design).
Finally, we tap on the Bottom Right Open Button, and Tap to Place Asset on the scanned surface. From here you have the option to animate your design or simply go to the Top Preview button and record or take a photo of your design.
